Tasting Room Team Member

We are looking for a fun loving, hard working person to join our winery team.  The winery is completely open-air seating and you will be working right next to the vines! 

You will be taking care of our guests and responsible for maintaining the casual winery environment we have built the brand on. 

Previous wine or winery experience is not required.  We can teach you that!  We need someone that will put the guest experience at the forefront!

This is a great role for someone who wants to get out of the house and talk with guests or as a 2nd job.  We have flexible scheduling to work around most other jobs.

Regular Responsibilities:

  • Greeting customers promptly and courteously

  • Guiding customers to wines they might enjoy

  • Serve tasting room guests, wine and hard cider samples and snacks

  • Answers visitor's questions on wine, the winery and general tourist information

  • Prep cheese trays and wash glassware

  • Keep, tasting room, prep areas, and bathroom clean

  • Collect payment from guests using an iPad-based cash register system

  • Setting up and cleaning up daily operations and special events.  We typically have 4-5 events per year (showers, weddings, birthday parties, etc.) and will verify staff availability prior to booking.

  • Promoting the sale of wine and non-wine products sold in the Tasting Room

 

The ideal candidate:

  • Has excellent people skills; able to project a friendly and helpful manner at all times

  • Able to work in a quick paced environment

  • Team Focused: Our staff works as a team sharing responsibilities, teamwork is key

  • Able to perform quality work efficiently with minimal supervision

  • Maintains a professional appearance and demeanor

  • Must be available to work 4/5 weekend shifts per month. (Sat/Sun)

  • Open to working on site special events after hours as required

  • Be able to lift 25 pounds


Additional Information: 

  • Pay starts at $9.00 an hour + tips.  Tips are distributed daily and average $60-150 on Saturday’s.  This is not a guaranteed amount.

  • Current shifts are between 11:00 am – 7:00 pm Thursday – Monday.

  • Most seating is outside on the patio or veranda. You will be walking on uneven ground and outside in the heat/weather.

  • Previous wine experience is not required.

 

Kitchen Staff

We are looking for a fun loving, hard working person to join our winery team. This person will be responsible for keeping the kitchen and glassware prepped and ready for the serving team.

This is a great role for someone who wants to get out of the house and talk with guests or as a 2nd job. We have flexible scheduling to work around most other jobs.

Regular Responsibilities:

  • Prep all food for tasting boxes including: cheese, meat, pickles, jam, vegetables, fruit, etc.

  • Prep cheese trays

  • Wash, polish and stock glassware

  • Label wine bottles

  • Bus tables and sanitize all tables and chairs

  • Keep, tasting room, prep areas, and bathroom clean

As Needed Responsibilities:

  • Serve tasting room guests, wine and hard cider samples and snacks

  • Answers visitor's questions on wine, the winery and general tourist information

  • Setting up and cleaning up daily operations and special events. We typically have 4-5 events per year (showers, weddings, birthday parties, etc.) and will verify staff availability prior to booking.

  • Follow COVID cleaning procedures
